Chinese universities empower artificial intelligence
Event Introduction
On July 5, 2025, China Film Academy held a “Dinosaur Party Through Time” with Sichuan Star Animatronic Brachiosaurus Co., LTD., a pioneer and leader in the electronic animation industry, in Zigong, Sichuan Province. The aim is to enable more people to understand the innovative enterprises in the field of cutting-edge electronic animation and theme immersive scene construction through popular science research projects and immersive projects that combine virtual reality with real scene Settings.

Zigong – “Hometown of Dinosaurs”
The dinosaur culture in Zigong, Sichuan Province, China, has a long history. Among them, the Zigong Dinosaur Museum is one of the world’s three major museums, on top of the National Dinosaur Park in the United States and the Dinosaur Park in Canada. It is the place with the most dinosaur fossils in the world. Based on large-scale fossil sites, scientific scene restoration, and modern technological expression, it houses the richest and most complete dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic period. Based on the fossils in its museum, STAR ROBOT has used artificial intelligence to restore and innovate them, creating Dinosaur Animatronic and related high-value-added products rich in high-tech.
Why do universities choose to collaborate with STAR ROBOT?
With the direction of global technological development, China is paying increasing attention to the development of artificial intelligence. This university research closely follows the background of The Times and visits Sichuan Starobotx Technology Co., LTD., an innovative industry of Robotic dinosaurs combined with artificial intelligence. Before the visit, the university conducted a survey on the Realistic Animatronic Dinosaur industry and learned that STAR ROBOT has achieved remarkable success in this field: it not only has cooperation with over 100 cultural and tourism scenic spots and commercial complexes, but also possesses innovative artificial intelligence high-tech that is not available in the same industry. During the visit, even the film and television university, which has high requirements for the appearance of products, was shocked by the walking with dinosaurs animatronics on the spot. Whether it was the skin, movements, or sounds of the Animatronic Dinosaur, they all made them feel as if they were in the prehistoric dinosaur era. After the visit, the university promoted the company’s animatronic dinosaur for sale. This is not only an endorsement of our Life Size Animatronic Dinosaurs products, but also a hope that we can make steady progress in the life-size animatronics dinosaur industry.

Star robot – Innovative Collision of Artificial Intelligence and Dinosaurs
- Immersive Scene
When the university research team entered the exhibition hall of STAR ROBOT, the variously shaped life-size animatronic dinosaurs immediately caught everyone’s attention. From the lifelike Animatronic Velociraptor to the imposing Animatronic Triceratops, the Bionic Dinosaur ‘s shapes and details make it seem as if one were in a prehistoric scene. An animatronic dinosaur integrated with technology can not only simulate primitive movements but also respond through sensing, experience the charm of the integration of technology and dinosaur culture directly through Realistic Animatronic Dinosaur models.

- Production process of Bionic Dinosaur
1. Effect and machine design:
Utilize artificial intelligence technology to design the movements and mechanical structures of the animatronic dinosaur model.
2. Mechanical structure:
The main skeleton of the animatronic dinosaur is welded with high-quality steel, and the motor and control system circuits are arranged inside to ensure structural stability.
3. Warp sponge:
Use a high-density sponge to wrap the animatronic dinosaur’s steel frame and shape it according to the texture direction of the dinosaur.
4. Carving:
The animatronic dinosaur surface texture is created by hand with a fine knife or electric carving tools, and details such as the claws and teeth are handled.
5. Bionic skin:
A silicone layer is laid on the base, followed by the embedding of high-elasticity fibers, and then a second coat of silicone is applied to form an elastic skin.
6. Scientific restoration:
Based on the research results of paleontology, prepare the painting materials, use air spraying to achieve a gradient skin color, and finally carry out ecological aging treatment.
7. Packaging:
The completed animatronic dinosaurs are fully wrapped with anti-collision bubble wrap to ensure their protection during transportation.
Conclusion
Through this practical research, the university research team not only learned about Starobot’s innovative cutting-edge simulation animation, but also witnessed its creative transformation and innovative development in the simulation animation industry, constantly contributing to the global spread of paleontological culture
